Coaching Tips for Parents
Mothers that sing to their children are able to “enhance the development of a broader set of perceptual skills, raising the possibility that music is beneficial to infant learning.”
Other studies tell us that the brains of babies who listen to their mother’s singing have more positive cortical activity than the brains of babies listening to a recording of the same music—just like hearing a recording of a book is not as rewarding as having a parent read it to them.
Babies, like all of us social beings, need people at every stage of life. Music training enhances the neural processing of pitch and improves speech perception in children.
The process of coaching involves the following steps:
Engaging with good questions.
Conducting an analysis.
Setting goals.
Planning action steps.
Recognizing improvements.
Making observations.
Giving feedback.
What is a Happiness Coach?
A happiness coach is a life coach who helps clients discover how to approach their problems and change their thinking and behavior to achieve a sense of happiness and fulfillment.
I can provide counseling, guidance, and motivation to moms and their families.
What I love about coaching programs for moms is that we can build together on what you already have. When you are a mother who already had another career, when you become a coach, you build on your existing skills. I teach moms how to become happy coaches so they can have a happy life and family.
